Lead Auditor |Management Systems Consultant ISO 9001 , ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Ecolabel/Product Certification Principal Auditor (Exemplar Global Reg #112800)
In the last 15 years of my professional career, I spent most of my time conducting audits against ISO-based management systems, supply chain requirements, and product certification standards for various organisations, mostly within Australia and some around the world. I have done capacity building for businesses, conducted gap assessments and interviewed hundreds of decision-makers and influencers at different ranks such as CEOs, MDs, GMs, Line Managers, Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, Consultants, Operational staff, Supervisors and Floor Workers.

I have assessed SMEs and large organisations, local companies and multinational corporates, products and service-based businesses. These organisations collectively incorporated a broad range of sectors, such as manufacturing, assembly, demolition, construction, B2B, B2C, hospitality, real estate, public service, water supply, waste management, electricity generation and transport.

My experience includes:

-
ISO 9001 (Quality Management System)
-
ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)
-
ISO 45001, AS/NZS 4801:2001 and OHSMS 18001 (OHS Management Systems) and
-
Various Product Certification standards under GECA as a part of the Australian Ecolabel programme

Through the experience, I have found that the organisations that are doing well are the ones that have a solid foundation of management systems and processes for continual improvement. Building a solid foundation is a journey, which does not happen overnight. It is like building blocks; you add a brick, check the alignment, adjust, and add another. Similarly, when it comes to building management systems, particularly ISO-based management systems, there are some basic processes that the organisations must realise and practice; and then progressively evolve. However, many businesses struggle to figure out a suitable and simple method to start, especially when new in this journey.

Sysberg website has been created to present organisations with a better and practical way to address this problem. In the coming days, the website will go through continual improvement. I sincerely hope that you will find the resources on this website helpful. If you have any question in this regard, please feel free to reach out to me.
